Meaningful Meetings
Is your dental practice suffering from poorly conducted meetings? Some dental practices don’t conduct meetings at all – and when they do it can be a waste of time. Poorly organized meetings easily turn into long sessions of juggling topics. Not knowing how to run successful staff meetings can have serious consequences on the health of your dental practice.
Here are a few tips to running a smooth and productive meeting with your dental team:
Agenda – The agenda should set the plan for the meeting. It should create a schedule of topics that will build a seamless flow, and allow you to cover everything necessary.
Constructive criticism – As a dentist or staff member, all participating parties in the meeting need to remember to be nice! Any comments or tips given to a fellow member should be in the form of help.
Training – Before setting the agenda, be sure to analyze your practice and narrow down which aspects need improvement in order to plan for training.
Successes – Keep your staff motivated by driving the meeting home with some happy testimonials and great feedback on everything that is making your practice a great place to visit!
